The Haryana State Teacher Eligibility Test syllabus –2011 at official website www.hbse.nic.in There will be two papers of the Teacher Eligibility Test No. 1 paper will be a person who intends to be a teacher for classes First to 5th will be for a person who intends to be teacher for class 6th to 8th. A person who intends to be a teacher either for class First to fifth for class 6th to 8th will have to appear in both papers (paper first and paper two)
EXAMINATION PATTERN: TET is set to be made mandatory for aspirants to be able to teach in private and government school. For paper one of the test candidate's will be tested on five subjects child development and pedagogy, language One medium of instruction and language II (chosen from a list other than language I), mathematics and environmental studies will focus on concepts and problem solving abilities.
Paper TWO : the paper two will have three compulsory sections on child development and pedagogy, language I and II. For mathematics and science teachers, three will be 60 MCQs of one marks each. For social studies teachers, there will be 60 MCSs of one marks each
